A tribute to our founder, roy montgomery
Roy founded Roy Montgomery Auction & Realty over 50 years ago and was active in real estate up until his passing in 2020.
Roy grew up in Plainview and later attended Reisch Worldwide Auctioneering School in Mason City, Iowa, and later taught real estate auctioneering at the school. He also went to Real Estate School and received his license which led him to sell thousands of acres of land just within the last decade.
A son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and mentor, Roy will surely be missed but his legacy will live on.
